Software Engineer – Columbia, Maryland (EW-MAT)
Salary Range: $80,000-100,000

In-Depth Engineering Corporation is seeking dedicated and innovative software engineers to support our rapidly growing Department of the Navy development programs. This position offers the opportunity to work on the Electronic Warfare – Micro-Adaptive Trainer (EW-MAT) program, focusing on designing and developing cutting-edge software capabilities, incorporating advanced simulation and stimulation attributes, and leveraging the latest tools, technologies and infrastructures, such as Kubernetes/Docker, to support an interactive, adaptive training tool that is delivered to the submarine warfare community.
This is a permanent, full-time position and the work will be performed on-site in our office in Columbia, Maryland on our Research and Development team.
Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense secret clearance.
Duties:
- Utilize modern software tools within an agile environment
- Design, develop, integrate and test software across several programs
- Work primarily with C++, Java and Python in a Linux environment
- Prepare software engineering design documentation
- Present engineering materials during peer and customer reviews
Requirements:
- Must be US Citizen and have an active DoD secret clearance
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 2-4 years of software engineering experience
- Ability to obtain a government Security clearance
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Java
- Experience in Python and Containers/Kubernetes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
