Software Engineer - Contract (Remote, Latin America)
What This Is.
We’re not hiring for an immediate role. We’re building a network of strong LatAm-based contractors we can call on as project work scales up. When we do engage, it’s for long-term relationships with consistent hours (up to 40 hrs/week available), not one-off gigs.
If you’re interested in stable contract work with a small, quality-focused team, we’d like to connect now, even if we don’t start working together right away.
Experience.
* 3+ years of experience building microservices, distributed systems, or data engineering solutions.
* Proficiency with Node.js or Python. Go, Java, or Rust are also valuable.
* Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, with strong SQL skills.
* Experience extracting and transforming data from various sources, including third-party APIs.
* Ability to self-direct work and operate independently, while being collaborative when needed.
* Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Location: Remote - GMT-11:00 to GMT-05:00
