Software Engineer Data Center

You will build and operate production software for data-center operations, including repair trackers, vendor workflows, dashboards, APIs, data pipelines, authentication, and integrations. You will ensure operational-state correctness, reliability, data integrity, access control, and safe deployments while working closely with SiteOps and NOC users.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate software stacks for scalable, auditable site operations
• Design, build, and operate multi-service production systems
• Own the correctness of operational state, queue ownership, and audit trails
• Build and maintain integrations with ticketing, inventory, telemetry, and vendor systems
• Maintain uptime, data integrity, reconciliation, access control, and safe deployments
• Embed with SiteOps and NOC users and measure workflow adoption

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years building and operating production backend or full-stack software
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking
• Proficiency in Rust, Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, or another programming language
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs for mission-critical applications
• Experience with a database such as Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL, or DynamoDB
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or OCI
• Experience with observability tools such as New Relic, Splunk, or Grafana
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
