Summary
Build and tune StarRocks serving layers, harden data pipelines, and operate government cloud infrastructure using AI-assisted tools for debugging and reliability.
You will tune the StarRocks serving layer, build and harden data pipelines, operate and troubleshoot government cloud infrastructure, and use AI-assisted tools to debug production issues, analyze logs, review code, and improve system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Own performance tuning on the StarRocks serving layer
- Build and harden data pipelines feeding government cloud investigations
- Operate and troubleshoot the serving layer independently
- Use AI-assisted debugging and log analysis to triage production issues
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Hands-on experience operating distributed OLAP or serving-layer systems such as StarRocks, Trino, ClickHouse, or similar
- Experience with query tuning and performance optimization at scale
- Experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response
- Comfort using AI tools such as Claude or Cursor for debugging, code review, and documentation
- Ability to independently operate and troubleshoot production infrastructure
- Ability to take on-call responsibility with minimal oversight
