Software Engineer(Data)
Summary
Develop and maintain reports for a stock trading system using SQL, PySpark, and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
We are looking for a Report Developer to design, develop and support reports for a stock trading system. The role involves working with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, develop reports, validate data and support UAT and production deployment.
Key Skills:
- 3-7 years of experience in Report Development, preferably in Banking/Financial Services.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, PySpark, ETL and data transformation.
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, Tableau or similar reporting tools.
- Good understanding of data modelling, data mapping and reporting datasets.
- Experience in UAT, defect troubleshooting and production support.
- Knowledge of stock trading/financial data is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading a team of 6+ members is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
