As part of the Dealer Learning Management team, the Senior Software Engineer is responsible for building resilient and scalable solutions in Java and cloud-native environments and adhering to industry best practices and company standards. This person will be part of a development team, serving as a technical lead and anchor to collaborate with various technical groups on designing, planning, and implementing
What you’ll do...
- Write APIs for our dealer and consumer-facing flows, both web and mobile
- Deliver solutions: consistent, optimized, resilient, documented, secure
- Design and test efficient front-end and server-side solutions
- Act as a technical lead and anchor to mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate and communicate clearly with Product Managers, Product Owners and UI/UX designers during development and support of application features.
You’ll have...
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience OR a combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of experience building and maintaining complex enterprise web applications in microservice product architecture
- Possess in-depth expertise in core technologies, including Angular, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, webhooks, messaging frameworks, container-based development (Docker), Elasticsearch, relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), NoSQL solutions (Azure Cosmos DB or Cassandra), and event-driven architecture solutions like Kafka.
- Experience in successfully migrating legacy applications to modern cloud-based architectures utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud technologies.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing projects using GCP Cloud computing technologies, database, Redis, Istio, Multi-Tenant, and Single Tenant

- Experience developing and deploying AI Agents.
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (preferably GitHub, Ready API, Terraform, Tekton, etc.).
- Understand the testing pyramid, develop a suite of unit tests and API tests, and adopt a “test-as-you-code” strategy.
- Ability to grasp concepts quickly and implement learning fast
- Passion for engineering excellence
- Effectively communicate your ideas and listen to others
- Problem-solving - not only technically but also with competing visions from teammates and partners
- Industry technical certifications

This position is salary grades 7-8.
- Salary Grades 7-8: $99,600 - $192,900
