Building the strongest tool suite possible! If you have experience developing software, which will stand the test of time and maintenance, and if you enjoy developing a complex data driven modelling tool using XSD-driven DSLs, you are at the right address

Furthermore, you always think twice about complexity and handle it by writing SOLID code. You are motivated by working with software designs, you want to spread this knowledge, and you apply patterns pragmatically

You will join an engaged team of highly skilled software developers that use Java to deliver tooling vital for the company. We work across two sites and perform in a multicultural environment. We develop andmaintaina modelling- and communication tool which is used everywhere from microchip development, over embedded software to our production sites. Our tool suite is utilized across the entire organization, making our team a pivotal contributor to meeting Demant’s strategic business objectives

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Developing an advanced development tool using the IntelliJ/Eclipse Platform/OSGi, EMF and Java SE
  • Providing training,supportand set-up for other teams
  • As your domain knowledge increases, working alongside your colleagues and our customers on designing the solutions, we need you to help us improve

The skills and mindset you bring to the team

We expect you to have a degree in Computer Science, SoftwareEngineeringor equivalent. Still, you do not consider hardware as something to fear. Furthermore, we are looking for the following skills:

  • Solid experience in OOP, preferably with Java as your primary language
  • Attention to detail and ability to break down complex features into simpler parts with clear interfaces
  • Working knowledge and application of good software practices and design patternsmost likely froma student position in a similar setting
  • Experience with Eclipse IDE plugin development preferred but notrequired

As a person, you would describe yourself as someone who works well within teams and thrives in a supportive role when engaging our customers. You communicate effectively in both oral and written form. You are analytic and social and always open to doing a little better every day. Notthe least, you have fun doing it!
