Software Engineer / Developer

Responsibilities:

· Designing, building and maintaining systems that support the customer lifecycle, including web servers, infrastructures and database

· Researching and developing infrastructure and APIs that integrate third-party services and grow with the business

· Ensure reliability and accuracy of all systems to meet business needs and customer experience

· Partnering with various departments to design and deliver automation solutions for manual-heavy tasks

· Liaising with third-party contractors on system-related items

· Manage Ad Hoc requests and troubleshoot system issues raised by other departments

· Be given a high degree of autonomy and ownership over your work

· Work closely with the team and contribute towards best practices, standards, and culture of the company

· Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues

Requirements:

· A degree in STEM field or equivalent

· Proven track record designing and operating scalable backend systems in production environments

· Proficiency in JavaScript (NodeJS, NextJS, etc) and SQL with solid command on additional programming languages

· Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

· Experienced with Cloud Infrastructures and deployment methodologies (preferably AWS and Microsoft Azure)

· Solid understanding of Relational Database design and management (MySQL and MSSQL)

· Familiarity with Git

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· 0 – 3+ years of experience (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
