Software Engineer - Distributed Systems

A rare route from Big Tech distributed systems into a global quant fund — Hong Kong

We are sourcing experienced distributed systems engineers for a global quantitative investment manager in Hong Kong.

This is NOT a traditional legacy maintenance role. You will be joining a new team building a globally distributed, real-time tick data architecture from the ground up.

• No finance or quant background required. The core challenge is pure high-throughput, low-latency distributed architecture.


• Tech Stack / Interview Flexibility: You can interview in the language you are most comfortable with (Python, C++, Java, Go, Rust, etc.)

Location: Hong Kong

Requirements: 4+ years in software engineering with a strong track record in distributed real-time systems, high-throughput architectures, and system design
