Software Engineer

You will design and develop distributed systems and contribute to high-impact architectural decisions. You will work on distributed systems, large databases, SQL processing, data modelling, and systems performance. You will own components of the blockchain data platform, write mostly Kotlin and Go code, improve developer experience and deployment processes, and automate platform operations and incident resolution using AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed systems
• Participate in architectural decisions
• Address technical challenges involving distributed systems, large databases, SQL processing, data modelling, and systems performance
• Own components of the blockchain data platform, including data ingestion and decoding
• Write code in Kotlin, Go, Java, and Rust
• Improve local test setups, integration tests, and incremental deployment processes
• Automate incident diagnosis and resolution using AI
• Build AI agents for team automation

Requirements

• Fundamental computer science knowledge
• Understanding of distributed system design or willingness to learn
• Understanding of blockchain technology and RPC interactions
• Experience with data lakes and formats such as Parquet, Delta, and Iceberg
• Collaboration and communication skills
• Coding experience in any JVM language
• Ability to write well-designed, testable software
