Software Engineer

Summary

Software Engineer at Echo in Tel Aviv who owns the full lifecycle of CVE-free container images, libraries, and Helm charts — sourcing, patching, validating, and releasing artifacts and cleaning vulnerabilities end-to-end at scale. Core tech: Linux, Docker/containers, Helm, Go/C/C++, and Git.

We're now looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and take ownership of building, maintaining, and shipping Echo's CVE-free container images, libraries, and Helm charts at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain vulnerability-free container images, libraries, and Helm charts, working at the intersection of Linux systems, package management, and security,

    Own the full artifact lifecycle - sourcing, patching, validating, and releasing new versions across images, libraries, and Helm charts

    Clean CVEs end-to-end: scan, triage, patch, and validate fixes across our artifact pipelines

    Ramp up on AI-assisted workflows and our current tooling to work efficiently at scale

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience developing within engineering teams

  • Strong Linux background

  • Familiarity with Docker or other container runtimes

  • Hands-on low-level experience with Go, C, and/or C++

  • Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows

  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
