Shift timings: 8.00am to 5.00pm OR 12.00pm to 9.00pm IST

Work mode: Hybrid - 3 Days office

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using Microsoft technologies. This role provides technical guidance, resolves complex technical issues, ensures software quality and performance, and supports the continuous improvement of development practices in an Agile environment.

ROLE & OBJECTIVES:
Assignments:

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable web applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS;
• Translate business and technical requirements into reliable software solutions;
• Provide technical recommendations and support architectural and design decisions;
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable and well-documented code following solid principles, design patterns and development best practices;
• Perform code reviews and support other developers in resolving technical issues;
• Develop and maintain unit, integration and UI tests;
• Troubleshoot application, performance and database-related issues;
• Ensure appropriate implementation of authentication, authorization and application security;
• Contribute to continuous improvements in development standards, tools and processes;
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, project teams and business stakeholders within an Agile/Scrum environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Required

• 4+ years of experience with developing end-to-end web applications using Microsoft stack of technologies;
• Strong working knowledge of Web application development using .NET, C#, Asp.net, MVC, WebAPI;
• Strong Working knowledge of Angular 14 or above, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3;
• Good working knowledge of MSSQL – SQL etc;
• Experience with usage Azure DevOps;
• Familiar UI testing and Unit Testing (MS Test/ Jasmine/ MOQ/ NUnit/ Karma etc.);
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP);
• Strong working knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns;
• Strong experience in designing and working with n-tier architectures;
• Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems;
• Should have working knowledge on Code review that includes, raising code review, resolve comment reviews, Closing code reviews;
• Should be aware of best practices in programming;
• Should know how to troubleshoot performance-related issues, how to write efficient code and query;
• Working knowledge Authentication and Authorization [Plus OAuth2, OpenIDC etc.] (5+);
• Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM).

Appreciated

• Experience with Azure cloud services;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software deployment processes;
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker;
• Experience working in international or distributed development teams;
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development practices.
