Software Engineer

In this role you will strengthen our core insurance platform within an agile Scrum team, delivering valuable features for customers and colleagues. You will work across the full stack, applying modern technologies to evolve critical systems in a collaborative environment. The role blends hands-on development with ongoing improvements, code quality, and documentation to support IT operations. • Work in a Scrum team to design and deliver features across Angular, .NET and SQL
• Develop, test (unit tests) and maintain scalable, clean code
• Align development work with business priorities and delivery dates
• Provide ad-hoc support outside core hours
• Create supporting documentation for new components/processes
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Engage in agile ceremonies and pair programming to share knowledge
• Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Demonstrate work in sprint reviews and celebrate team achievements

• Proven software development experience
• Frontend and backend skills (Angular, .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Strong SQL writing and database design
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Understanding of service-based architectures and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
