Software Engineer (Full Stack) - ECommerce / AI

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full-Stack and Mobile Development. Build and maintain end-to-end features across web platforms (customer portals, admin tools) and mobile apps (React Native for iOS and Android).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, high-impact products.
• Backend and API Architecture. Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js (TypeScript) and Python.
• Payment and System Integrations. Implement payment gateway integrations (billing, subscriptions, invoicing) and third-party services (SSO, messaging, webhooks).
• AI and LLM Engineering. Integrate LLMs, build RAG pipelines, and develop AI workflows and MCP tooling.
• Database and DevOps. Design and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) while maintaining code quality through automated testing and Docker CI/CD pipelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Core Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3+ years of professional hands-on full-stack software development experience.

Frontend and Mobile

• Proficient in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks: React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js, alongside modern HTML5 and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience in cross-platform mobile development with React Native, including mobile app build and store launch (iOS / Android).

Backend and Databases

• Proficient in backend development with Node.js (TypeScript) / Nest.js / Express.js; working knowledge of Python is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experienced with ORM and query-builder tools such as Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize.

AI Engineering and DevOps

• Practical knowledge of AI engineering: RAG pipelines, vector search, LLM integrations, AI agents, or MCP architecture.
• Hands-on familiarity with Docker, containerized workflows, and cloud deployment platforms (AWS / GCP / Cloudflare).
• Comfortable with developer toolchains: GitLab / GitHub, Figma, Jira, and ClickUp.

Languages and Soft Skills

• Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese (native), English, and Mandarin.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude who thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment.
