Summary
Full-stack engineer on Grab's MiniApp Platform team, building the developer portal, backend services and APIs used to onboard, configure, review and release MiniApps. Works with TypeScript, React and a backend language, plus cloud services, observability and reliability tooling, onsite in Singapore.

The MiniApp Platform team enables internal and external teams to create, onboard, operate and scale MiniApps across Grab. We own the developer tooling, self-service capabilities, developer portal, Horus platform and reliability foundations that make MiniApp delivery safe, observable and efficient.
Get to Know the Role
You will build full-stack platform capabilities that simplify how MiniApps are onboarded, configured, reviewed, released and operated. You will work across the developer portal and backend services to turn complex platform workflows into reliable self-service experiences for engineering and business teams.
You will report to the Software Engineering Manager, and be based onsite at the Grab One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Design and build responsive portal experiences, backend services and APIs for the MiniApp Platform.
- Develop self-service capabilities that reduce manual work and improve the developer experience.
- Automate MiniApp onboarding, configuration, review and release workflows.
- Improve platform observability through telemetry, dashboards, alerts and operational tooling.
- Apply strong testing, security and reliability practices across the full stack.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews, incident response and continuous platform improvement.
- Partner with product, design, mobile, backend and infrastructure teams to deliver platform outcomes iteratively.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Minimum 2 years of professional full-stack engineering experience with TypeScript and React, together with at least one backend programming language.
- Hands-on experience building and operating APIs, databases and cloud-based services.
- Working knowledge of monitoring, alerting and production troubleshooting.
- Strong engineering fundamentals in automated testing, secure development and maintainable system design.
- Experience building developer platforms, internal tools, self-service workflows or onboarding systems is advantageous.
