Software Engineer - Fullstack

Vesta is rebuilding the mortgage LOS from the ground up. Our mission is to build an AI-augmented platform where AI is the core engine that transforms how loans are manufactured, moving the industry away from antiquated manual processes toward a fully automated future.

• Work on a product-oriented team to build, deliver, and maintain functionality in high-need business areas
• Act as an owner of specific product areas to create maximum value for customers
• Translate high-level business goals into practical, scalable engineering solutions
• Navigate and contribute to complex data models and schema designs
• Maintain high product velocity using modern AI development tools

• Strong full-stack web development experience with products used by thousands of users
• Proficiency in React state management
• Expertise in C# .Net or other statically typed languages like Java, Scala, or Kotlin
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Experience with real-time event streaming (Kafka) and caching (Redis)
• Ability to work autonomously in an early-stage startup environment
• Willingness to travel to US-based offsites at least twice a year

• Proficiency with modern AI development tools in a professional setting
• Experience with schema design and query optimization
• Comfort with mission-critical work that may occasionally require effort outside typical hours
