You will join the GoBIZ team to build digital tools that improve how citizens and businesses interact with government services. This position involves managing the entire development lifecycle within an agile environment to create secure and scalable applications.

What you’ll do
- Build, test, and launch high-quality software systems across multiple platforms.
- Partner with designers and product managers to turn project requirements into functional technical designs.
- Produce clean, maintainable code that adheres to team standards.
- Perform code reviews to maintain quality and provide feedback to peers.
- Identify and fix software bugs and performance issues.
- Refine internal development processes and tools.
- Research new technologies to determine if they fit current government initiatives.
- Guide junior team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Maintain the security and stability of all deployed applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in one or more languages including Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience working with back-end frameworks like Node.js or Spring Boot, or front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.
- Practical knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a collaborative team setting.
Nice to have
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
