Software Engineer Golang
You will architect and scale high-performance distributed Go microservices, build GraphQL and REST APIs for front-end platforms, and deliver clean, tested, maintainable production code. You will develop event-driven messaging systems, optimize SQL and NoSQL databases, and collaborate to take features from design through production.
Responsibilities
- Architect and scale high-performance distributed microservices in Go
- Design and maintain GraphQL and REST APIs for front-end platforms
- Ship clean, well-tested, maintainable production code
- Develop event-driven messaging architectures using Kafka and AWS SQS
- Optimize SQL and NoSQL database performance and data models
- Collaborate to take features from whiteboard to production
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building complex backend applications or enterprise software
- Production-grade Go experience, or senior-level backend expertise in another language with strong Go fundamentals
- Experience designing and consuming GraphQL, REST, or gRPC APIs
- Experience with Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, or RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL storage systems
- Familiarity with AWS services including EKS and DynamoDB
- Experience with containerized environments
- Focus on testing, maintainability, and code behavior
