Software Engineer - Golang

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Go (Golang) code.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services for integration with frontend and third‑party systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and frontend engineers, to deliver robust solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to Go development best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and maintain version control using Git.
• Work closely with the customer’s technical teams to align deliverables and ensure smooth integration with existing systems.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–5 years of hands‑on backend development experience using Go (Golang).
• Strong understanding of:
  • Concurrency
  • Goroutines
  • Go channels
• Experience in RESTful APIdevelopment and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as:
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CDpipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good understanding of:
  • Software design patterns
  • Testing frameworks
  • Version control systems (Git)
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a customer environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Prior experience working on‑site with enterprise clients.
• Experience working within large‑scale distributed systems.
• Previous experience as a Go (Golang) Developer.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint‑based delivery cycles.
