Software Engineer - Golang

The role involves crafting scalable microservice architectures and enhancing backend systems while collaborating with various stakeholders. The position focuses on improving codebases, solving technical challenges, and ensuring the security and observability of services, ultimately contributing to the overall performance and reliability of the platform.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Craft well-architected microservice architectures for scalable backend systems.
2. Collaborate with PMs and stakeholders in brainstorming and refining feature requirements.
3. Improve and refactor existing codebases for better maintainability and performance.
4. Solve complex technical challenges and evaluate new technologies.
5. Design and implement security control mechanisms for services and data.
6. Lead incident response efforts and contribute to post-incident analysis.
7. Build observability into systems for effective monitoring and debugging.
8. Lead technical projects, manage deliverables, and ensure team alignment.
9. Adhere to company policies and achieve assigned targets.
10. Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience in a strongly typed programming language, such as Go or Java.
3. Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, Spanner).
4. Proficiency with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
5. Proven experience in developing well-architected APIs and microservices.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
7. Clear understanding of the distinction between coding and software engineering.
8. Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and manage deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with cloud integration and deployment.
2. Familiarity with background task processing and asynchronous workflows.
3. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
4. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
