Software Engineer

You will work in an Agile environment to solve complex technical challenges and build scalable software across on-premises and cloud-based environments. You will contribute to projects, collaborate with engineers, share knowledge, and take ownership of your technical work.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical challenges using software engineering methods, languages, and frameworks
• Develop software across on-premises and cloud-based environments
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver innovative and scalable systems
• Contribute to large-scale projects and share knowledge with the engineering community
• Take ownership of technical work

Requirements

• Demonstrate solid programming fundamentals
• Be proficient in at least one modern language or framework, such as Go, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or Rust
• Have a higher education STEM background through a degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
• Have practical software engineering experience gained through projects, employment, internships, or placements
• Be a British citizen or hold dual British nationality
• Be eligible for Developed Vetting clearance
• Live within commuting distance of Manchester
