Summary
A 24-month graduate software engineer role starting September 2027 at Bosch's Nuneaton office, developing and calibrating Electronic Stability Control functions (ABS, traction control, integrated vehicle dynamics) in software, with simulation and test-track validation. Requires a relevant degree, UK right to work, and travel to Abstatt, Germany.
Software Engineer:
- Developing customer-specific functions and software solutions for longitudinal & lateral dynamics as part of the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system, under guidance.
- Developing and calibrating functions like "Anti-Lock Brake System" (ABS/IBC), "Traction Control System" (ITC/TCS), "Integrated Vehicle Dynamics Control" (VDC / IVC) and "Value Added Functions" (VAF) for cars with various chassis architectures, including additional rear wheel steering or electronically controllable differentials, under guidance.
- Testing above mentioned functions in simulation and prototype vehicles on test tracks.
- Support technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Flexibility and willingness to go to our headquarters in Abstatt, Germany to build up a network there and gain the knowledge you need to be effective in your role.
To be eligible for this Graduate role at Bosch, you must hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
This is a 24-month graduate role beginning in September 2027. This position is open to recent graduates looking for a graduate level opportunity.
Location: you will be based at the Nuneaton office.
