About Archer
A new regulatory change lands somewhere in the world every six minutes, and agentic AI is outpacing most teams' ability to govern it.
At Archer, we help the enterprises powering the global economy turn that pressure into an advantage. Mandates like the EU AI Act and the SEC cybersecurity disclosure rules are driving the most significant GRC buying cycle we have seen in years. That demand is why we are growing this team. This is hard work that matters. Our customers span energy, utilities, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and the public institutions communities depend on. People choose Archer because they get to partner with the most trusted brands in the world, on work that protects the customers and communities those brands serve.
If that sounds like your kind of work, let's chat.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated Software Engineer to join the Archer Engineering team. You will work alongside a highly motivated group of developers who thrive on collaboration, open communication, and tackling hard engineering problems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will own features end-to-end — from refining product requirements through design, development, testing, and ensuring customer success — across a modern .NET and JavaScript stack that powers GRC workflows for some of the world's largest enterprises.
What You'll Do
Backend Development
• Build and maintain server-side features using C#/.NET and SQL Server that meet business and customer requirements.
• Design and consume RESTful services to integrate platform components and external systems.
Frontend Development
• Develop responsive user interfaces using React or Angular, HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Partner with UX designers to translate wireframes into polished, accessible UI components.
Quality & Testing
• Write unit tests for every feature to maintain high code coverage and prevent regressions.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing code and processes to raise the quality bar.
Collaboration & Process
• Work closely with Product Management, UX, and QA to refine requirements and deliver cohesive solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.
What You Bring
• 1–2 years of professional software development experience using C#/.NET.
• 1–2 years of hands-on frontend development experience with JavaScript and React.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server for data storage and querying.
• Experience with Git-based source control (GitHub or GitLab).
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests for new or existing code.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
Even Better If You Have
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to cloud-native services on AWS or Azure using .NET Core.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across the full stack.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.
