Software Engineer

hlpy is seeking a Software Engineer (Python) to join our backend team and help design, build, and scale high-performance software solutions. You will contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior developers while staying hands-on in coding.

Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications and APIs. Implement unit and integration tests to ensure reliability. Optimize code and systems for performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards. Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to translate requirements into solutions. 4+ years of backend Python development experience. Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices. Strong relational database knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL). Familiar with CI/CD and cloud environments (AWS).
