About the Role

We are a dynamic start-up based in Hong Kong focused on revolutionizing the education sector through our cutting-edge generative AI education platform. Our mission is to enhance learning experiences and outcomes through innovative technology solutions. We are seeking talented and motivated candidates from leading universities in Hong Kong to join our engineering team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our generative AI education platform. You will work on both backend and frontend components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java; implement scalable and efficient algorithms for AI-driven features; collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to integrate AI models into the platform; ensure high performance, reliability, and security of the backend services
• Frontend Development: Develop and maintain the frontend of our education platform using Flutter; create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for students, educators, and administrators; collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement innovative and engaging features; optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-platform compatibility
• Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions; contribute to the ideation and development of new features and improvements; stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in AI and education technology

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Java for backend development
• Proficiency in Flutter for frontend development is a plus
• Experience with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work on complex projects and deliver high-quality results
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
