Astek Iberia is hiring a Software Engineer focused on AI-assisted development to lead adoption of AI coding practices across engineering teams: defining standards, reviewing implementations, and integrating tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor, while ensuring security, licensing, and privacy compliance. Hybrid role based in Spain combining hands-on development with coaching and governance.
At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer specialized in AI-assisted development to lead the adoption of modern AI coding practices across our engineering teams
¿Posee las habilidades y la experiencia adecuadas para este puesto? This is a unique hybrid role combining hands-on development, coaching, and governance, where you will shape how AI is used in software engineering at scale.
Define and standardize best practices for AI-assisted coding
Review and guide implementations to production quality
Evaluate and integrate tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor IDE
Define standards for AI-generated code (testing, security, performance)
Ensure compliance (security, licensing, data privacy)
5–10 years of experience in Software Engineering
~ Strong coding skills (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript or similar)
~ Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Copilot, LLMs, etc.)
~ Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
~ Fluent English
~ Spanish work permit
