Job Description
A Junior Software Engineer will perform maintenance tasks and new feature functionality with frequent guidance from senior developers. The successful candidate will participate on an agile team to estimate and groom backlog items. They will ensure that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional, and is user-friendly.
Core Job Duties
- Develop and maintain user interface controls, business logic, and SQL Server stored procedures
- Participate on the agile team to estimate and groom backlog items, plan development activities, and improve the development process
- Develop functionality using the isolved coding standards
- Work with business analysts to clarify requirements and debug problems
- Investigate third-level support requests
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of relevant web application/services development
- Perform maintenance tasks and new development with support from senior developers
- 1-3+ years of large enterprise or e-business systems experience
- Ability to follow prescribed steps to research and solve complex problems
- Strong skills with PHP, LINQ, SQL, Unit Testing, .NET, JavaScript, HTML
- Knockout, Angular, Azure CosmosDB, or other NoSQL database
- Experience with extensive (500+ database table) system development a plus
- Eager to learn and grow
