What You Will Do

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using C#, MVC, VUE.js, HTML, CSS.
  • Assist in the writing and optimization of SQL queries to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Document code and software processes for future reference and maintainability.

What You Will Learn

  • Improve knowledge and experience with the Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Improve knowledge and experience in the specific development tools and integrated development environments (IDEs) that are standard within your team or project (e.g., Visual Studio, VS Code).
  • Improve knowledge and experience in the programming languages and technologies relevant to your projects (e.g., C#).
  • Improve knowledge and experience in applying software design principles and patterns.
  • Improve knowledge and experience in version control systems (e.g., SVN) and collaborative tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Improve knowledge of cybersecurity principles and how they are applied within software development.
  • Enhance your problem-solving skills by tackling real-world challenges and debugging complex issues.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Strong working experience with relational databases, particularly MS SQL Server.
  • Demonstrated working experience in C#, .NET, or Java within various development environments (e.g. Visual Studio). Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience in architecting high-availability solutions to a broad customer / user base
  • Experience implementing Software Development Life Cycle and software development best practices on medium to large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in requirements capture, design, and decomposition.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/XML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Familiar with front end development and UI creation and prototyping tools and able to assist with front end development using IIOT tools e.g. Ignition. Power BI.
  • Knowledge of broader software application technologies (VMs, Apache, REST, JVM, containers, etc.), and experience with designing and tuning elements of full stack systems.
  • Able to work independently or within a team.
  • Results-oriented and motivated to provide solutions with measurable benefit to our customer and business.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
