Software Engineer
Summary
Software engineer on a 12-engineer product team at Ignite, a Nordic procurement and supplier intelligence platform. You own features end to end from idea to production using React, Golang/TypeScript, GraphQL/gRPC on serverless Google Cloud with PostgreSQL, MongoDB and BigQuery, and join customer conversations. Office-first in central Oslo.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our product team. We’re 12 engineers, a few designers and a couple of product managers, working as one unit across initiatives that support our product strategy. Together, we figure out where each of us can make the biggest impact, and that shifts as our initiatives change.
You might be fresh out of university, a few years into your career or looking for a place where you can take on more than your job description allows. You’re curious and keen to learn, including the procurement domain we work in.
You take ownership, get things done and learn new tools quickly. You care about the product and the people who use it. You’re comfortable joining customer and prospect meetings, and you use what you learn to solve their needs.
What you'll be doing:
Build and ship features across the product as part of our empowered product team.
Own problems from idea to production.
Learn and grow through feedback and pairing with experienced engineers .
Work closely with our commercial team in customer and prospect conversations.
What you bring to the team
A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
A product mindset: you care about why we build something as much as how.
Experience building software through studies, side projects, internships or work.
Hands‑on experience building with AI tools.
Experience from a startup, student organization or project where your role was broader than the title.
Experience with procurement or enterprise ERP systems.
