Responsibilities:

  • Independently deliver features end-to-end, from design through deployment and monitoring.
  • Own and maintain small services or components within the broader microservices architecture.
  • Build and enhance REST APIs and backend services in Java with Spring Boot, ensuring reliability, performance, and clean design.
  • Develop frontend features using TypeScript with Vue or React frameworks.
  • Design and optimize SQL database schemas, queries, and indexes.
  • Contribute to event-driven architecture components using SNS/SQS, EventBridge, or Kafka.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and QA to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and maintain test coverage.
  • Deploy and monitor services on AWS or Azure, responding to issues as needed.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and runbooks.
