Software Engineer II, Full Stack, Core Systems
Summary
As a Software Engineer II on Google's Core Systems team, you'll design and implement APIs and features for Google's families infrastructure, working on full-stack development with backend and frontend code across multiple Google teams.

As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Germany: €86000 - €88000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Work on families infrastructure to support a set of integrations.
- Design and implement new user-facing features for families.
- Design and implement new internal and external facing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
- Write backend and frontend code.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across the company and communicate with the remote stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, TypeScript).
