The Customer Experience (CX) team is a blend of full‑stack mobile and web engineers focusing on features core to the user experience across our mobile applications and backend services. Some examples include providing onboarding guidance to properly configure security systems, educating customers on how best to protect the things they love, and notifying customers of important activity on their systems.
We’re seeking a Software Engineer II (Full‑stack Web) who is eager to grow their skills in building reliable, scalable, and impactful customer‑facing experiences. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to features used by millions of people, while learning from and collaborating with experienced engineers.
We are building a new team in Krakow.
Our employees work fully from the office with the possibility to work remotely occasionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute and deliver full‑stack features (both frontend and backend services) under guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate closely with teammates, product managers, and designers to build user‑facing features that scale globally.
- Problem‑solve and develop efficient, maintainable code while learning to balance performance, security, and reliability.
- Grow across layers by building experience in both frontend (React, Ember, etc.) and backend services (C#, Web APIs, microservices, etc.) and latest evolving technologies.
- Ensure quality by writing unit tests, participating in QA cycles, and helping monitor production performance.
- Continuously learn, staying up to date with new tools and best practices while building your technical foundation.
- Contribute to code reviews, team discussions, and documentation, learning from peers while sharing your own ideas.
What Should You Bring?
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- A or B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering program.
- English proficiency with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exposure to backend OOP development (e.g., C# or similar, Web API development).
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Strong interest in learning backend and frontend best practices.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in English.
- Exposure to strong fundamentals on JS frameworks/libraries like React and/or Ember.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, Kafka, or microservices.
- Experience with automated testing of Web and backend services.
