Software Engineer II, Java
Summary
Builds and maintains Java-based microservices, designs REST APIs, and ensures system reliability using Docker, Kubernetes, and observability practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve backend systems based on a microservices architecture.
- Ensure the quality of delivered solutions through engineering best practices (Clean Code, automated tests, code review).
- Contribute to defining and evolving technical and architectural standards.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the reliability of system integrations.
- Implement and improve observability practices (logs, metrics, monitoring).
- Support analysis and resolution of production incidents with a focus on root cause.
- Actively contribute to the evolution of team processes (Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, development workflow).
- Participate in agile ceremonies and technical discussions, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Solid experience in backend development with Java.
- Experience with GIT.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL).
