Software Engineer II, Java

Summary

Builds and maintains Java-based microservices, designs REST APIs, and ensures system reliability using Docker, Kubernetes, and observability practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and evolve backend systems based on a microservices architecture.
  • Ensure the quality of delivered solutions through engineering best practices (Clean Code, automated tests, code review).
  • Contribute to defining and evolving technical and architectural standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the reliability of system integrations.
  • Implement and improve observability practices (logs, metrics, monitoring).
  • Support analysis and resolution of production incidents with a focus on root cause.
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of team processes (Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, development workflow).
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and technical discussions, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in backend development with Java.
  • Experience with GIT.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Experience with microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL).
