We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer II to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions that will power our cutting‑edge Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to build scalable web services, implement containerized architectures, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. Education & Experience Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Ireland without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
• Programming Languages: proficient experience with Java, C++, or Python.
• Containerization: Some experience working on containerized systems and architecture.
• Development: Experience in performing full‑stack web services development.
• Operations: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

Skills We Value

• Experience working on relational databases.
• Experience working in Angular (or similar).
• Experience working on HTTP/REST APIs.
• Experience with orchestration systems (Kubernetes/Helm charts, Terraform, etc.).
• Experience with publisher/subscriber frameworks (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
• Experience with Python‑based web server technologies (Flask, FastAPI).
• Experience with Java Spring Boot.
• Experience with the Qt framework.
• Familiarity with geospatial computation/GIS.
