Core stack is Python 3 on Linux with MongoDB, Docker/Kubernetes and Helm, GitLab CI, RabbitMQ, and Ansible; requires an active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications including DINO. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications including DINO. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
- 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash
- Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Familiar with Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
- Experience using Git Source Control System
Desired Skills + Experience
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
