Software Engineer III, AI/ML
Summary
Software Engineer III on Google's Gemini Encoder-heavy team, building and optimizing production Gemini-based encoder models that power Search, Ads, YouTube, and Gemini Embeddings. Day to day: writing system code, training/fine-tuning Transformer models, and optimizing latency, memory, and compute on GPU/TPU accelerators.
Gemini Encoder-heavy provides Gemini-based encoder-heavy models that are production-ready with associated architectures, pipelines and optimization recipes. The models are widely adapted across Google's Product Areas such as Search, Ads and YouTube. The codebase is also the main infra powering Gemini Embeddings.
