  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to scenario execution, transaction processing, data quality, and batch processing.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to implement scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities to promote engineering best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, processing flows, and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to improving platform reliability, performance, observability, and operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering or enterprise application development, including hands-on experience with NICE Actimize SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring).
  • Practical experience in Actimize SAM development, configuration, customization, testing, or production support.
  • Experience working with Actimize SAM detection scenarios, monitoring rules, thresholds, and transaction processing workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Actimize Intelligence Server (AIS) and SAM application architecture.
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and troubleshooting database-related issues.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, data mapping, and data validation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Java or Python.
  • Understanding of AML transaction monitoring concepts and the role of detection scenarios in identifying potentially suspicious activity.
  • Experience troubleshooting application issues, batch processing failures, and data integration problems.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices, Agile methodologies, version control, and automated testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to independently deliver assigned development tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience implementing or enhancing NICE Actimize SAM solutions in a financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with Actimize Intelligence Server (AIS), SAM data models, and scenario execution processes.
  • Experience supporting production AML transaction monitoring applications and troubleshooting performance or processing issues.
  • Experience with Actimize SAM platform upgrades, configuration changes, or application enhancements.
  • Knowledge of AML regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML, KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR).
  • Experience with SQL query optimization, database performance tuning, and large-scale batch data processing.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing, and application monitoring tools.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and enterprise application integration patterns.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and regulatory data management practices.
  • Interest in platform modernization, automation, and AI/ML-enabled AML transaction monitoring capabilities.
