Software Engineer III, Full Stack, Corporate Engineering
Summary
Builds and maintains large-scale internal tools and platforms that support Google’s global workforce, using full-stack development with Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related technologies.
In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. - Develop code for products or systems.
- Conduct or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate and select technologies.
- Review code developed by other peers and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices in coding style, accuracy, testability and efficiency.
- Update documentation and educational materials based on product changes and user feedback.
- Triage and resolve technical issues by diagnosing sources and evaluating effects on hardware, network and service quality.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience in front-end development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML or CSS.
- Experience with back-end development in Java, Go, or C++.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
