Software Engineer III

Builds backend web services and servers in Java/Spring Boot, with functional UI, to manage metadata for mission analytics using AWS, MongoDB, and Kubernetes.
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team!
Specifically, the STATE MANAGEMENT team is sourcing a full-stack Software Engineer (SWE-3) focused primarily on backend web services and servers, with functional UI experience, supporting the capture, tracking, management, and enrichment of metadata for mission analytic workflow processes.
Qualifications
- Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Strong full-stack development with functional UI experience, primarily focused on backend web services and servers
- Critical: Java threading, Spring Boot, JavaScript, JMS, MongoDB, AWS, Amazon RDS
- REST, Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Cockroach DB or other RDBMS at similar scale, COOP, and large-scale distributed systems with high availability
- Open-source tools experience including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, Tomcat, Spring, and JMS
- Additional technologies: Java, JavaScript, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Postgres, and MySQL
- Strong communication skills
- Kibana, Alfresco, Content Management tools, Node, Svelte, React, and Angular
- Confluence, Jira, Maven, and Git
