In this role you will build and scale the Inbox services for Sinch’s Engage Platform, delivering reliable, high-performance backend systems. You will work within a cross-functional, autonomous team responsible for the full software lifecycle from design to deployment. Your work powers messaging and engagement features across multiple product lines, with a focus on scalability, observability, and security. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape the backend that enables world-class omnichannel communications at scale.

• Develop and maintain scalable, distributed backend services and microservices using Java
• Design, implement, and optimize APIs, messaging pipelines, and data models
• Work with non-relational databases and ensure efficient data handling
• Contribute to high-throughput messaging systems’ performance and reliability

• Collaborate with frontend, product, and other stakeholders to deliver aligned features

Responsabilidades
• 3-5 years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems xqbhyrx
• Experience with non-relational databases
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Kafka
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Commitment to clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Experience with AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) and awareness of their benefits/risks
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced team
