Job Description
US Servicing Platform Technology Solutions seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the API Development team. The candidate will lead and contribute to the creation of end‑to‑end solutions, focusing on large and complex coding projects. Responsibilities include hands‑on development, design and debugging across all solution layers to fulfill business needs, performing complex technical tasks independently, coaching the team, and becoming a subject‑matter expert who consults with clients and project teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Java Application Developer
- Proficiency in the Spring framework, including Spring‑WS for SOAP
- Experience with GIT, Maven, Jenkins in an Agile build environment
- Solid knowledge of J2EE, Web Services, and RESTful API design patterns
- Database experience with MySQL
- Operating system expertise with RedHat Linux and Windows
- Cloud services experience on Azure, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Java tuning
- Leadership and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Spring Security, OAuth
- Experience using AI tools for code generation and management
- Familiarity with vulnerability and code scanning tools
Nice to Have
- JSSE for encryption and SSO
- Scripting skills in JavaScript, XSLT, and ANT
- Experience with Agile Development Methodology
- Experience in the enterprise/financial industry, preferably with high‑availability, high‑usage applications
