Glints is hiring a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) in Batam to automate and optimize QA processes, build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Core technologies include Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium, GitHub, and Jenkins.
We’re looking for an SDET who is passionate about test automation, software quality, and building efficient QA processes.
(What You’ll Do)
- Automate, optimize, and improve QA processes to increase testing efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts based on test objectives and business requirements.
- Create, maintain, and share QA documentation across the team.
- Work closely with Developers, Functional Teams, and Users to define testing requirements, objectives, strategies, and test plans.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and maintain automated test data, testing environments, and test automation frameworks.
- Conduct knowledge sharing on emerging QA technologies and best practices.
(Must-Have Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in application development and Quality Assurance, with experience completing at least 3 SDLC cycles in web development.
- Hands-on experience in automated web testing, including functional, load, performance, API, and UI testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright , WebdriverIO and Selenium.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub and Jenkins.
- Experience collecting, measuring, and monitoring software testing and QA metrics.
- Strong knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
(Nice to Have)
- ISTQB or other testing-related certification.
- Working knowledge of Java and/or .NET.
- Experience with Angular, GitHub, and DevOps.
