Software Engineer in Test

We are hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test (Java) to lead quality assurance activities across end-to-end projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on test automation professional who can take ownership of testing, strengthen automation practices, and work closely with development and operations teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Take ownership of end-to-end testing across assigned projects.
- Design, create, and execute functional and automated test cases.
- Build, maintain, and drive improvements to the test automation framework.
- Coordinate test activities, manage testing schedules, and provide clear test reporting.
- Support the development, deployment, and administration of QA processes, tools, and supporting technologies.
- Partner with cross-functional and global teams to resolve quality issues and ensure successful releases.
- Contribute to DevOps activities, including deployment support and release management.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of software application testing experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium with Java, Oracle, and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of the trade settlement lifecycle; exposure to banking, capital markets, or trading is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and global locations.
- Experience supporting vendor systems and using Confluence and JIRA.
- DevOps exposure is an advantage.
