Software Engineer
Summary
The Software Engineer will develop scalable cloud-based integration solutions within the ION Connectors team, working with Java and emerging AI technologies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain high-quality software features.

You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, architects, QA engineers, and designers to deliver products that drive business value for our customers.

As part of the ION Connectors team, you will contribute to a cloud-based integration platform within Infor OS and help build innovative capabilities, including emerging AI and agentic AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deliver software features aligned with business needs.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable Java code following best practices and Infor development standards.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and daily stand-ups to ensure software quality and share knowledge.
- Create unit tests and support integration testing activities to ensure product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues
- Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies to improve product performance and reliability.
- Document technical decisions, processes, and best practices to contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
- Hands-on experience with Java development
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and relational databases.
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Python or C#
- Experience with Spring Framework.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience of modern UI frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue).
- Experience of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting deployment activities and maintaining production environments.
