Job Description
- Build and enhance production‑grade applications in Python or Java based on logic originating from Azure Databricks.
- Develop secure, high‑performing REST APIs and configure Azure API Management and Application Gateway.
- Manage containerized deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service, including YAML/K8s configuration.
- Oversee full CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps, from container image builds to multi‑environment deployments through ACR and AKS.
- Integrate applications with the Azure data ecosystem, including Data Lake Gen2, Unity Catalog, and relational databases.
- Coordinate cross‑cloud integrations with GCP components such as FHIR Store and Vertex AI.
- Support the transition of data science outputs into stable microservices in production.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong hands‑on experience in Python or Java for backend development.
- Practical knowledge of Azure components: AKS, APIM, App Gateway, and Azure OpenAI.
- Familiar with Databricks, Data Factory pipelines, and RDBMS operations.
- Competent in Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience building microservices and scalable REST APIs.
- Bonus: exposure to GCP services such as Vertex AI or healthcare data standards like FHIR.
- Understanding of data lakehouse concepts, particularly Unity Catalog.
- Suitable for candidates with 2+ years of experience.
