Software Engineer

Salary: ฿27,000 – ฿40,000 per month

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong programming skills who can analyze requirements, design and build features, and integrate AI into software applications. You will work on web applications, backend APIs, and image or video analysis services, collaborating with the team from requirements through development, testing, and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Break requirements into tasks, define inputs and outputs, design APIs and data structures, estimate effort, and explain options and tradeoffs to the team

• Build dashboards, forms, and event views. Integrate APIs, manage application state, and handle loading, empty, and error states clearly

• Develop REST APIs and business logic, validate inputs and permissions, write SQL, implement schemas or migrations, and improve slow queries

• Exchange data through APIs and events. Handle timeouts, retries, duplicate data, and unavailable external services

• Write unit and integration tests appropriate to risk, debug with logs and development tools, investigate performance, and participate in code reviews

• Prepare images or video, select and evaluate models, implement preprocessing and postprocessing, and turn predictions into usable outputs such as classes, locations, and confidence scores

• Establish baselines, split data appropriately, investigate false positives and false negatives, and adjust thresholds or fine-tune models when supported by evidence and data

• Build Python APIs, connect model outputs to backend services and user interfaces, handle failures, track model versions and configuration, and measure latency and resource usage

• Document setup, sample inputs, test results, and limitations. Work with the team on monitoring and rollback approaches for model or service changes

About you

• Around two or more years of software development experience, or equivalent work demonstrating ownership of a feature from design through testing while collaborating with a team

• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills, including async/await, components, state, and API integration. Experience with React or a comparable frontend framework and willingness to adopt React

• Practical backend API development with C#/.NET or a comparable technology. Understand validation, authentication, authorization, and error handling, and be ready to learn our stack

• Understand object-oriented programming, separation of responsibilities, basic data structures, and testable design. Write SQL joins and understand transactions and indexing fundamentals

• Use Git branches and pull requests, debug effectively, write tests, read English technical documentation, and explain code independently of AI assistance

• Work with data and files, organize code into modules, manage environments and dependencies, and produce reproducible scripts or services

• Demonstrate at least one computer vision project, such as object detection or image/video analysis. Explain your contribution, model selection, data, and evaluation results

• Use PyTorch, ONNX Runtime, or comparable tools to load models, run inference, and process outputs. Understand preprocessing such as resizing and normalization

• Understand training, validation, and test splits. Prevent data leakage, particularly across frames from the same video, and use precision, recall, or mAP as appropriate

• Analyze incorrect predictions and propose changes to data, annotations, models, or postprocessing, supported by evidence beyond a single demonstration
