Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Software Engineer – Integrations to join a world-class engineering team responsible for building modern integration solutions and scalable enterprise data platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native integration solutions that connect critical enterprise systems, applications, and data platforms. Working within a highly collaborative Agile environment, you will help build distributed systems, streaming pipelines, APIs, and cloud-native services that power business-critical operations at scale. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex integration challenges, working with modern cloud technologies, and building highly reliable, secure, and scalable solutions capable of supporting enterprise-level workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed, highly available data processing applications that support enterprise-scale business requirements.
• Build and manage end-to-end batch and real-time streaming data pipelines.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement robust inbound and outbound data integration strategies across enterprise platforms.
• Develop integration solutions connecting ERP and enterprise platforms including AS400, SAP, Dynamics 365, and other business systems.
• Implement and maintain low-latency Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines to support near real-time enterprise data movement.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate secure and efficient data exchange.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and ELT data pipelines using modern ingestion and orchestration platforms.
• Build cloud-native solutions utilizing serverless and distributed computing technologies.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, reliability, and security across all integration platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve integration, performance, and data quality issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive improvements to enhance platform reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and automated software delivery.
• Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, testing activities, and architecture discussions.
• Apply DevOps principles across the full software lifecycle from development through production support.
• Drive cloud optimization initiatives through effective utilization of resources and infrastructure management.
• Support vulnerability remediation and implementation of enterprise security best practices.
• Create technical documentation including solution designs, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, release documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, software engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and automation technologies to improve delivery efficiency and engineering productivity.

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong practical knowledge of data ingestion platforms such as Fivetran and related orchestration frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working with BigQuery, Datastream, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Cloud Composer.
• Strong experience developing and supporting cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications such as AS400, SAP, and Dynamics 365.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, schema design, data modelling, and enterprise integration strategies.
• Knowledge of data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Apache Beam.
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD automation tools.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform will be an added advantage.
• Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or equivalent platforms.
• Understanding of modern software architectures, distributed systems, and scalable cloud platforms.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience developing enterprise-grade software applications.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality.
• Passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving technical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
