Software Engineer Intern (2027 Internship)
You will complete a variety of challenging development projects during a 10-week summer programme. You'll work alongside senior engineers to improve the scalability, performance and efficiency of cutting-edge, low-latency trading systems. You'll learn first-hand how to design and architect a trading system for scale and support the massive amounts of data flowing through the systems daily. You'll take part in a company-curated global training week, solve real trading and quantitative problems, work with several senior mentors, and join engaging social events.
Responsibilities
- Complete challenging development projects throughout the internship programme
- Improve scalability, performance and efficiency of proprietary low-latency trading systems
- Work alongside senior engineers and mentors on real trading and quantitative problems
- Design and architect trading systems for scale
Requirements
- Excellent academic background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude
- Highly motivated and tenacious, with proven ability to take initiative and work independently and within a team
- Team player capable of working toward collective goals
- Graduating year of 2028
