Software Engineer Intern (AI + Full-Stack)

**About Leading Bird Company** Leading Bird Company builds AI-driven solutions for the healthcare sector—focused on **Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)**, **customer support**, **outreach**, and **decision support**. We build production-grade AI systems and agents that integrate with real workflows (scheduling, eligibility checks, CRMs, databases). **Internship Role** We’re looking for a **Software Engineer Intern** who’s excited to build real product features (not just demos). You’ll work closely with senior engineers/founder, ship weekly, and learn how modern AI-first products are built end-to-end. **What you’ll work on (examples)** * Build frontend features in **React / Next.js** (dashboards, onboarding flows, admin panels) * Build backend APIs in **Node.js/TypeScript** (or Python where needed) * Integrate third-party services via APIs/webhooks (telephony, scheduling, CRM, etc.) * Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews * Work with LLM features (prompting, tool calling, basic RAG) **What we’re looking for** * Comfortable with **JavaScript/TypeScript** fundamentals * Basic experience with **React** and building web apps * Understands APIs, JSON, async, and databases (basic SQL is enough) * Can learn fast, communicate well, and take ownership of small modules * Bonus: Python, Postgres, Redis, Docker, LLM projects **Internship details** * Duration: **3–6 months** * Mode: **Remote** (IST collaboration) * Potential PPO/full-time conversion for strong performance
