Software Engineer Intern - C# .NET Desktop
Summary
Build real-time Windows desktop trading apps in C# .NET (WinForms/WPF), write tests, and collaborate with traders and engineers during a 10-week internship.
You will join the UI team for a 10-week summer internship and work with Traders, Quants, and Software Engineers to design, build, test, and maintain real-time Windows desktop trading applications. You will develop C# .NET applications, write tests, evaluate technologies, participate in Agile/Scrum development, and shadow application support.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Windows desktop applications using C# .NET and WinForms or WPF
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Evaluate and implement technologies to improve user experience and development efficiency
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development
- Shadow the application support process
- Design, build, test, and maintain real-time trading applications
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent technical field
- Graduating by August 2028
- Major GPA of 3.5 or above
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment, including F-1 students using OPT or STEM
- Understanding of the .NET Framework and C#
- Familiarity with WinForms or WPF
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Familiarity with Git or another version control system
- Understanding of unit testing concepts and frameworks such as NUnit
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Communication and teamwork skills
